Children at St Anne’s
Children are most welcome at St Anne’s. We like to see and hear them.
We aim to be a relaxed, family friendly church and realise that even to get to church with children is an achievement in itself. So take a breath and realx.
Each month we have an all age worship which we hope will appeal to a wide range of families. We have a dedicated children’s space with toys, play table, colouring sheets and books, just head for towards the red carpet.
Sunday School
The Sunday School meets during the 10am Sunday service except in school holidays and welcomes children from ages 2- 12.
Each week a team of Sunday School leaders design a session to help children understand their faith better. This is done through discussions, movement, play, art and a presentation to the rest of the congregation at the end of the service.
Sunday School is above all there to help children explore their faith, the bible, the liturgy and our traditions. Its a place to make friends, ask questions and explore all that faith life has to offer.
All Age Worship & Family Services in 2026
Children are always welcome at St Anne’s but throughout the year we have some services and events in which children take on a greater role: they read and serve at the altar, sometimes they preach and lead the prayers.
Printed calendar cards can be picked up from inside the church. For an up to date list please check the online calendar on this website.
